Women’s March has a successful Kick Off Event at the Santa Cruz Food Lounge

We had a really great Women’s March launch at the Food Lounge Dec 19, 2017. We are so grateful to the over 90 community members who joined us to listen to Brenda Whitley from NAACP talk about the upcoming Martin Luther King march and Nereida Robles from Senderos share the exciting work they are doing with students. We shared plans about Women’s March and Nancy Abbey spoke about the Activist Fair following the Women’s March. Gail Pellerin invited everyone to the upcoming Breaking the Glass Ballot event

Cynthia Mathews spoke about the annual Reproductive Rights Brunch and Rachel Goodman shared the progress on making community radio a reality. And we all got a chance to thank recent former mayor Cynthia Chase for her year of leading our City.

In this season of giving please consider including Senderos
