EVENT: Celebrating the First-Time Voter

Art Submission Request

When: Sunday, October 28th, 4pm-8pm 

Where: MAH (Museum of Art & History), 705 Front St. Downtown Santa Cruz

In conjunction with this event we are seeking artwork with the theme WHY I VOTE. This artwork will be displayed at the MAH ( Museum of Art & History) during the event. After the event,  all  artwork will be displayed at the County Clerk/Elections office on the 3rd floor of the County Building until the election. In addition one selected piece of artwork will be used for the Santa Cruz County 2020 election and will also receive a

$500 scholarship. Other artwork (with artist consent) will be used in Santa Cruz County Voter participation outreach materials. 

Details: Create artwork about voting
Paper Size: 11” x 14” format or smaller
Materials: Be creative, all materials accepted

Label Artwork: Name, grade & school if applicable and contact information 

(ie: phone number and/or email) must be on back of all artwork

You can submit your artwork before the end of Friday 26th to:

Or you can bring it to the MAH at 4pm on the day of the event.

*We are inviting anyone to supply art, but the prize will be limited to young voters aged 16-25.
